How do I become a member of IWS Poland?

The rules for membership of the International Watercolor Society Polska association are governed by the rules of association. Below is an extract of the terms and conditions that apply to this.

  1. Members of the Association may be natural persons with Polish nationality, of Polish origin or the right of permanent residence in Poland.
  2. Members of the Association are divided into:
    1. Ordinary
    2. Support
    3. Honour.
  3. A member of the Ordinary Association may be any natural person who:
    1. It has full legal capacity and is not deprived of public rights,
    2. Submit a member declaration in writing,
    3. He will present an artistic work of watercolor painting.
  4. A member of the Supporting Association may be a natural person declaring financial, substantive or substantive assistance in achieving the objectives of the Association.
  5. A member of the Honorary Association may be a natural person who has made an outstanding contribution to the activities and development of the Association.
  6. Founding members have the status of a member of the ordinary association.
  7. The adoption of the new members shall be adopted by the Association Board by resolution
    adopted within 14 days from the date of submission/receipt of the Member Declaration.
  8. A regular member has the right to:
    1. Use of the acquis, assets and all forms of activities of the Association;
    2. Participation in meetings, lectures and events organized by the Association;
    3. Reporting conclusions on the Activities of the Association;
    4. Lower fees for participation in competitions, workshops, exhibitions, outdo
      or spaces and lectures organised by the Association;
    5. Inform them by e-mail of events organised by iws;
    6. Priority in registration for workshops with watercolor masters.
  9. Ordinary members are obliged to:
    1. Participation in the activities of the Association and the achievement of its objectives;
    2. Comply with the Rules and Resolutions of the Association Authorities;
    3. Regular payment of contributions.
  10. The name of the members of the Association will be included in the list of members on our website www.iwspoland.eu (new members will be added there successively).
  11. Honorary members do not have passive and active electoral law, but they can participate with an advisory vote in the authorities of the Association.
  12. The support member is obliged to fulfill the declared benefits, to comply with the statutes and resolutions of the Association authorities.
  13. Support members shall be exempt ed from membership contributions.
  14. Honorary members shall be exempt ed from membership fees.
  15. Membership of the Association ceases as a result of:
    1. Written resignation lodged at the hands of the Management Board;
    2. Exclusions by the Management Board:
      1. Due to violations of the rules and non-compliance with the resolutions of the Association authorities;
      2. Because of the notorious and unjustified non-participation in th
        e work of the Association;
      3. Due to unjustified relicity in the fee of membership contributions for a period exceeding half a year;
      4. At least 10 members at least 10 members;
      5. Loss of civil rights under a final judgment of the court;
      6. Death of a member.
  16. The excluded or deleted person shall have the right to lodge an appeal to the General Meeting of Members within 7 days from the date of service of the resolution in writing. The Meeting of Members shall consider the appeal at the time of the upcoming deliberations and its decision is final.

Where is the membership declaration and how to submit it?

link. The declaration may be made by letter or in pers
on. However, if you want to submit it in person, please contact the Management Board at the email address in the Contact section to arrange a meeting.

How to document your artistic work of watercolor painting?

Nothing difficult. All you have to do is provide the Board with a link to your website, Facebook, Instagram, etc. You can also send your portfolio in electronic or paper. Or present your work at the meeting.

Membership contributions – how much, where and when?

Membership fees by resolution of the Management Board are PLN 120 per year. The contribution is paid once a year. The deadline for payment of the contribution is January 31. New members shall pay the contribution in proportion to the time of membership of the Association, counting from the month of admission to the Association inclusive. The deadline for contributions to new members is 7 days from the date of acceptance. Contributions must be paid to the Account of the Association: Santander Bank Polska S.A.:

Personal data provided in the declaration – what happens to them?

Like everyone, we are obliged to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act. Below we will find information about the processing of personal data

In accordance with art. Article 13 (1) 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR) we inform you that:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is International Watercolor Society Polska with its registered office: ul. Chabrowa 20A/3, 44-210 Rybnik, entered in the Register of Ordinary Associations under the number 28/2019 and using the number NIP 6423221131, hereinafter referred to as the Association (IWS Polska). The Association does not have a Data Protection Officer (IOD).
  2. Your personal data will be processed to the extent necessary to pursue statutory purposes in accordance with the scope of our business. The Association processes your personal data for various purposes, but always in accordance with the law. The legal basis for such data processing is Art. Article 6 (1) 1 point. a/f/ GDPR, which allows you to process personal data on the basis of voluntary consent, including the issue of accounting documents.
  3. IWS Polska is entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties on the basis of a contract to entrust the processing of personal data. In addition, IWS Polska is obliged to transfer your personal data on the basis of mandatory legal provisions, including at the request of authorized courts, bodies and institutions.
  4. Your personal data is not, in principle, transferred. However, the transfer of your personal data may take place where necessary in order to perform the contract concluded with you.
  5. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the member declaration contained, and after that period until the expiry of the limitation period for claims for membership. On the other hand, your personal data recorded in the accounting documentation will be stored for the period indicated by applicable law, including tax legislation.
  6. Subject to restrictions under the GDPR and other laws, you have the right to access the content of your personal data and the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to data portability objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time if the processing takes place on the basis of your consent.
  7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority within the meaning of the GDPR when you consider that the processing of their personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

  9. Your personal data is not subject to automated processing, including profiling.
